To stay on topic, they'll be playing two today to avoid some bad weather tomorrow. First pitch for the first game still at 1 p.m.

Radford had bases loaded and 1 out in the Top of the 2nd.

We walked in a run and Radford leads 1-0. Then we got out of trouble with a double play.

Winthrop won tonight, locking the Eagles into the No. 2 seed and Liberty into the No. 3. Very likely that LU will open against Radford Wednesday.

Not sure if that is good or not. Hoepfully today and first round game last year against RU were wake up calls. We shall see. I was surprised we got swept today.

coastalfan, I know you guys are good and that cant be disputed but did you ever realize that you have to win with class just as much as you have to lose with class? Youre really not doing yourself any favors by coming on here and puffing your chest out just to make yourself feel better.

Where is RM's crying baby picture?

Seriously, he took a very weak jab, not deserving of some Dad Speech.

Coastal's put in a quality program, year in and year out. Hats off to them. Them winning and fielding top 25-caliber programs, like Winthrop has done, is arguably one of the best things the Big South has going for it. I'm glad Coastal is a fine program...

...as I am glad that we have a guy like Toman, a great recruiter, at the helm of ours.

2 nice nights in a row. Rain coming late tonight again. Should be a real nice day tomorrow afternoon too. Sure would of helped not rushing these games in - might not have lost the series to Radford. Would be nice to see LU play in Regional s Chris, but it was a guarantee chance to see them play this weekend. I'm not sure we can win the tournament this year. I'm not being a downer, just being realistic - we are young and have plenty of Talent - just have to remember that Rome wasn't built in a day. I know it's not a revenue sport HMO, but I don't think sports at Liberty are in place to make money. It sure would be nice to have alumni come in on weekends and enjoy some games...

Proto, I understand where you're coming from. I also know Toman was a little gun-shy considering how many games had been affected by rain this year. It's a tough call. Believe me, it was not an easy one either. I posted my thoughts on LU's Big South chances on the other thread.
