I hate the fact that our team isn't going to get any practice time on the new field before the season starts. This could be huge for defensive purposes. Our infield will have no idea how the ball rolls and our pitchers won't know exactly how to pitch and where the ball carries. Seems like it's lined up similar to Worthington, wonder if the right field jet stream will carry over.

Most likely, but probably not as much. Typically we have winds blowing from the Northwest to Southwest. When it ran up against the hill, it created a "jet" effect. But the stadium is on top of another hill now.

I looked at the website for the company that is putting down the turf, sports construction group Who is the official distributor of shaw sports turf And they have eight different styles of turf. Does anyone know which one it is? SCG has done a lot of baseball work for pro teams and they did the campus east fIelds so it will be quality for sure

on a side note: I don't see how they squeeze an entire 100 yd turf field in there between the new stadium and the FOC but I guess thats why I didn't design the place.

I sure hope they packed all that fill dirt down really well. I would hate to see a repeat of the practice field fiasco of a couple years ago!

Besides that, it is looking great.
