We really do swing at anything close. Bases loaded, two out, pitcher has walked the last two guys on 3-1 counts, and we swing away on a 3-1 and ground out. Second time we've left the bases loaded without scoring. Still 1-1 going to the bottom of the 5th.

1-1 after 6. Richardson gave up an unearned run in the 1st and is cruising with just 74-75 pitches through 6. We've hit 3 balls that should have been HR, but 2 were into the stiff wind in LF and got knocked down short.

Congrats, guys. You won hoops title on CCU's court, then smacked them twice here this week. (they'll still point to FB season, though, trying to make a point).

LU could wind up in any one of area sub-regionals: Ch'ville, Raleigh, Chapel Hill.........Campbell (RPI 36) should get an at-large spot, play at S. Carolina or Clemson (if they get to host next weekend), or Chapel Hill or Raleigh. Obviously the two teams won't be in the same regional site next week.

CCU (RPI 47) most likely not.
