Perfect Game Preview of the Big South attached below. You will have to have a subscription to see it all, but can see some without one. In my opinion, Perfect Game does the best job of conference previews, while D1Baseball.com does the best job of in-season coverage/content and has the best writers. For those who can't access all the info here's a summary....LU picked 2nd behind Coastal. LU's Dalton Britt & Sammy Taormina are both 1st team pre-season all conference. Coastal leads the way with 5 selections. Bean & Britt are both listed in the Big South top 10 pro prospects list. Wintrop's Matt Crohan listed as pre-season pitcher of year, High Point's Josh Greene as preseason player of year. Their summary/outlook (which you can't read if no subscription) for LU was very positive. They failed to mention Herndon coming back from Tommy John, which I think is a HUGE key piece to the pitching staff. I can cut and paste the summary if others would like to see and can't. 16 days and counting!!
