Its not his glove as much as its his instincts. Great athlete with decent bat but he just takes bad routes in the outfield and runs into outs on the bases. Id still rather see him out there than paxton.

He may be one of those players, that the more he plays, the better he gets.

Hard to replace Perritt. But I can see Roberts creating havic on the base paths next year @ leadoff.

Im not saying replace perritt. Im saying play roberts in lf and lead him off. I actually would rather see perritt hit in the heart of the order.

Toman doesn't know the first thing about making out a lineup. He only looks at what the opponents have done against that pitcher; maybe lefties are hitting him better than righties. The only problem with that is, the righty your setting on the bench for that game is twice the hitter the lefties are; but he plays the lefties because thats what the stats say. You have got to play your best hitters at ALL TIMES, not on someone else's stats.
