I noticed that LFSN entered into a partnership with Cox Sports to broadcast some baseball/softball games this year.

Assuming that this partnership eventually extends to other sports, I wonder if this partnership is, at least partially, a strategic move relating to the Sun Belt Conference. Seems that two thirds of Cox Sports affiliates are in Louisiana, Arkansas & Texas.

Thanks PAmedic. When I saw the notice on the Flames website I knew about the Realignment Megathread and thought about posting there. I did check it before posting. I didn't realize there was an area dedicated to announcements under General Sports. I thought that category was all about Olympic/intramural sports.
