Win 40 with this schedule and we should host. Lots of good solid home games. The 8 games against Bryant and Kent state will be huge. Obviously the first 2 weekends carry a lot of name teams. All midweek games are solid. Jmu has turned into literally the worst non conference team we play.

I give it a solid B...maybe B-. if we had a couple other top 5 teams in the non-conference slate I'd give it an A for sure

After looking at the schedule I hope I get the chance to go to a few of these games as a fan, not just with the broadcast crew. This one could be better than last year, and IMVHO that's saying a something.

You've said some dumb things on here, but this may take the cake.

+1 between the post season teams and quality and quantity of home games I really don't know what more you want from the schedule?

Fantastic schedule. In addition to what Lang and the school has said, here are some RPI numbers which reflects the difference from last year:

We had 6 games vs RPI teams 1-50 last year while we have 13 (obviously 2014 finish) in 2015.

We have 15 additional games vs 51-100 teams which gives 28 against the top 100.

In what maybe the most significant statement, we only have 6 non-conference games in the bottom half (150-300). 2 against Penn State,1 with GA ST, Richmond, JMU, and the Citadel.

We have a ton of experience coming back - let's hope our pitching depth comes around. Go Flames. Beat Coastal!

I've thought for several years wvu would be a great midweek addition. Also were playing a lot of different conferences and teams from each conference that are upper echelon.

I'd like to see us play teams like Vanderbilt, Texas, UCI, Rice, a few others. I like the schedule...just think we could stand to fry some even bigger fish now that we are showing signs of regional success

Disappointed to not see a Texas swing this season. I guess we just need to get int he same league with some Texan teams to help me out.

I'm just looking forward to seeing the team in person, I didn't get the chance last year. I don't care who they are playing, I'm glad it's good teams I just want to see them in person.

I get your point BJ but you can't give a B to this schedule. You have top 25/50 rpi teams from last year: UVA, GA tech, UNC, ODU, Maryland, WVU, Bryant (kennesaw state and WCU) just outside. With pretty much every other team on this schedule having potential to be a regional team. Many who are passed power houses with new blood as coaches (ECU, Michigan with Schnabel, ball state). There is not 1 guaranteed win on this schedule with the exception of UR and many years they are really really good. I applaud the staff and am excited to see how we stack up week in and week out with mich of the best competition in the country.

Maybe we should try winning a regional first...and we do have national finalist UVA, plus many teams that could get to the CWS. Just b/c we don't play powerhouses from other regions does not mean this is a weak schedule by any means.

A B isnt a weak schedule grade...now if I gave it a C or a D...that would be the dumbest thing ever. this is a very solid schedule. win 40-45 out of this one and we probably are an at-large at minimum, and as someone said earlier, probably hosting.

It's basically how well you did a couple of years ago. The top teams end up not playing the bottom teams, and the bottom teams don't play the top. Pretty much like a sliding scale of your record of who your bye will be. Since it is done a couple years out though it is always hard to get it exactly correct.
