If your talking about the double elimination game, I will never forget that Saturday. UNCA has given us fits the last several years. I think they won the series the last time we played. I was getting a little worried today.

This team is having fun. A few days off before we play a team from Charlottesville who has a decent team.

Good series by the guys, three come from behind wins. Surprised that Asheville has such a poor record, they played pretty stellar against us. We are going to have to play better defense to finish out the year though. I believe all 3 runs were unearned today.

We really dodged a bullet this weekend. A loss would have really dropped us in the rpi. We keep fining ways to win and we continue to win games we should win. Bad news is despite the wins we havent hit all that well or run the bases well. Good time for a break. Great 45 game start for the flametrain

Thanks critic...so we are 5 1/2 with 6 to play. two wins or a win and a Campbell loss next series locks up overall number one for us. The mark of a champion is winning even when not at your best, and these guys really came through this weekend against a traditionally tough opponent (the game I referenced before was in 2007 I think)
