Coming off a series win over Campbell this weekend (fan and player actions notwithstanding on their part), the Flames head back on the road and face off with a regular nemesis in-state (and a nemesis in conference realignment as well) in the JMU Dukes. The two teams split last year, with JMU winning 21-4 in Harrisonburg and Liberty winning 12-11 in extras in Lynchburg. JMU enters the game 8-11 and losers of 6 of their last 8, including back to back losses to Cornell at home. The Dukes are 1-2 in midweek games on the season, while the Flames are 3-1 (with wins in their last three midweek games). Lyons has not pitched since the win over Elon last week so he is a likely candidate to take the hill for us in this one, although Toman will have to look at whether he wants to start Lyons here or against ODU in the second game of the back to back on Wednesday.
