Have you looked at JMU team stats. They score over 9 runs a game. They have one guy who's hit 17 HRs and another wuth 14. As a team we have @ 14 - they have 54 HR's in 30 games. Their pitching stinks but boy can they pound the ball. They hit 5 HRs today!!

With a 2 run lead in the 9th I would have brought in the closer at that point.

The Entire top half of the CAA is like that. I'll be watching JMU here in Atlanta this week in a big series against GSU. For some reason the Power hitters are still cranking them out with these new bats in the CAA. I'm expecting pitching to be thrown out the window with these games this weekend. i'll let you guys know how it goes. but like i said before and beej reiterated if these types of games don't start turning into W's it might be time for a change SOMEWHERE in the coaching staff. Personally I think it should be toman. but he probably needs one more year. so change our pitching coach. I don't know. once again I'm getting off the soapbox.

Considering I live 43.5 miles from LU... it's kinda hard to make an afternoon game when I'm at work.

I believe you. Missed calls happen. He still gave up a pair of HR's after that. That's how we lost.

i said earlier in the year this team would struggle to win 30.. they are proving that statement to be exactly right.

disappointing loss for sure and with the possible extended loss of rasmus is a blow, but it would provide jeff jefferson some playing time if im not mistaken. we really need a sweep this weekend at high point.

Just got done talking to Casey's brother Cory, who will be the Hillcats' no. 3 starter this year. He said Casey got word that it's an ankle sprain and he'll probably miss two weeks.

If it's a high ankle sprain it will be longer and if it's an ordinary ankle sprain he will be limited to DHing.

Better than a broken ankle for sure. What about the guys that got hurt last weekend?

If it is high ankle sprain...probably grade 3 ! Usually 5 to 6 weeks best case. Depends on the grade severity.
