It is my understanding that the Hillcats did not want to give up the stadium for a second college tournament (the city already had a contract with the ODAC for that conference tournament). They felt like a second tournament would have been too much for the field to take. A pretty lame excuse, if you ask me, but that was the reason I had heard.

Kick the ODAC to the curb...I bet they can get a field at Miller Park for their tourney... :roll:

No, He's a Hillcat employee...everything goes to the city first then goes to the head grounds keeper. Keep in mind this is a Minor League baseball facility first and foremost so since they already lost a week due to the ODAC (Scheduled way in advance) they are unable to help out the BSC Tourny....Just from the ODAC alone caused us to have THE longest home stand in the history of existence (that's 50 years of baseball folks) so you could imagine how losing another 3 or 4 days would hurt us.
