the flames hit the road for a huge weekend series against the bucs, with a single game saturday at 3pm and a doubleheader sunday starting at 11am. CSU (15-25 overall, 4-8 big south) is coming off a 7-2 loss to savannah state, but won their last big south series over winthrop. LU (22-23 overall, 9-6 big south) had a tough 11 inning loss to george mason of the glorious CAA on wednesday and looks to soldify itself in the upper half of the BSC standings. GO FLAMES!!!

LU takes the 2nd game of the series 13-2, as Umberger goes 6 1/2 innings for the win. Every starter but Rotola (who scored a run) gets a hit; Giammaresi with 3 RBI, and Grijalva with 4 RBI.

Game 3 just getting underway, as CSU scores 2 unearned in the first off of page. A sweep will be huge with a series with HPU coming up in two weeks as it appears VMI, LU, WU, and HPU will be battling for the 2-3-4 seeds and avoiding the play-in games.

Good advise to let it go, no need. I think you will see some big changes next year based on the talent level of this years team. You might want to wait and see what happens and then post your thoughts.
