Road Trip to ODU

Since this is an NCAA event, we should get a good chunk of tickets and I certainly hope we sell every single one of them. This is a very reasonable drive on a Sunday for crying out loud.
Once ticket plans are announced please bring the information here. And I will be the first to suggest this is worthy of a FlameFans tailgate.
Go Lady Flames!

Our women's very first NCAA tournament game was at ODU against a powerhouse squad featuring Ticha Penacheiro and 6'5 Clarisse Mashanguana. It wasn't pretty! Something tells me we will be more competitive this time around.
ODU is the only program in the country which has dominated their conference longer than we have.

Ok, the game is at 7. I'm going to do my best in to talking my wife into going. It's less than a 2 hour drive. Who else is going?

I just purchased 2 tickets through Liberty and flames club. I must warn you as a flames club member that should Liberty win, you will automatically be billed for Tuesday's game as well. That is kind of wierd but I bought my tickets anyway and will still root for Liberty

even if I won't be able to go to the 2nd game. I tried unsuccessfully to get media credentials but the NCAA is very strict now on the guidelines. Even if it was the men's team it looks like I don't qualify as a media member. Oh well. It's only money

I am working it for media credentials to the Sweet 16/Elite Eight at Reliant Stadium with the Horns likely coming to town ... maybe even Final Four if they play as well as I anticipate. But you are correct that the NCAA is very tough on the number of passes they hand out.

I'm in 102 but I don't know which row. Near the floor though.

I can't go on Sunday, but if the girls do win, I'll gladly take the unused tickets for Tuesday's game off of anyone's hands, seeing as how I live 10 minutes from the Ted.

our "section" will only consist of 150 tickets. there will be more tickets available to LU fans but they will be spread out around the arena

I didn't get my tickets through the LU ticket office, but had to go through cox tix. I was able to get in the "LU" section of 102 though.

yes, but because he got a free trip down there (except for probably having to drive the van or bus) it didnt cost him anything, other than the money he spent while he was down there... which is why he is now poor...

Actually, I didn't have to drive anything nor spend any of my money while I was down there, so I was poor before I went. Honestly, I've never gone home for Spring Break in my 5 years at LU.
