We take on High Point Saturday evening at 6pm. Winner gets a chance to play for the championship.

LU has never lost a game as the #1 seed in the Big South Tournament (29-0 I believe). Another interesting side note is that LU and Radford have never faced off for the title in the Big South Tournament.

My hubby and I are spending the weekend in Asheville lookin' forward to watching the Lady Flames bulldoze over the Big South opponents!! I can't wait until 6p even though I'm sick as a dog with a sinus cold . Maybe you'll see us on the telee cheerin' on the Lady Flames!!!

I'm actually in Charlotte this weekend doing some college visits around the area. Maybe I'll be able to see this game! GO LADY FLAMES!

We are up 37-21 at the half even though Megan got 2 fouls early and only played 4 minutes. Egle and Molly taking up the slack inside. McLeod looks terrific w/6 points and 4 assists. We are going a lot with 2 PG in the lineup w/her and Allyson.

No. In their student gym, they didn't have bathrooms. We had to use portajohns.

Yep UNCA AD said they are starting to build a new gym next door to the Justice center this April

The gym may be a dump...but they have a first class Athletic Training Room right outside the hall from the locker rooms.

Was able to go to the game after all. The refs were awfull, especially the female ref, but they were all bad! (in fact I think I recognized them from some of my rec ball years when I was 10 haha lol)
The team played well though and there seemed to be balanced scoring, of course I haven't looked at the stats yet, but that's what it seemed like from the stands.

one of those refs was Dan Outlaw. but i agree the refs were pretty bad but thankfully that did not affect our play tonight. lets get RadTurd tomorrow.

I missed the second half of the broadcast but it does look like we had balanced scoring. Racheal Mcleod and Egle Smigelskate had great games. I remember them interviewing Jeff Barber at halftime and he didn't seem too happy about where the game was being played (Since the Justice Center was such a dump). He didn't actually say that but he kind of said it in a different way and stated that it made the conference look bad and represented a poor image of the tournament and the conference. Hard not to agree with what he said.
