Anyone know the status of Moriah Frazee. She went down with a potentially serious knee injury last Saturday. What is her status for the Winthrop game tomorrow? Not sure if this was brought up in another thread.

Any word? I didn't hear anything from Jamie or coach in the broadcast last night.

It's medical information...and a little law called HIPAA limits disclosure of such information at times. Besides, why would LU even want to advertise it.

Yes, but we all knew when Megan had torn an ACL and was out for the rest of the season. We all know about the status of Tyler Baker. Don't see why we can't know about Moriah.

Believe me I know about HIPPA fumble. Practically everything I do on my job falls under the jurisdiction of this act. All that is required to legally release this information to the public is Moriah's written consent, and I suspect she is pretty much going to do whatever coach Green feels best where that is concerned (although she is a nursing student, and as a Junior I believe she would have already studied health privacy regs herself). When Megan had her knee injury, the severity and the need for an operation were announced in fairly short order, so I'm thinking no news may be good news here. I can see where Carey could gain a bit of an advantage by not letting the cat out of the bag for a while. Keep um guessin. I'd just like to know how she is doing as a fan.

Too bad. She had worked really hard on her game and was playing at a level not far from Megan.

The only good thing that came out of last night's loss was that Egle was able to play (quite a bit actually) with no apparent ill effects, although she was not very effective. If she can shake the rust off in the next couple of games, she is capable of taking up a lot of the slack from Moriah's absence.
