We have a 3 game road trip before we end the regular season at home against Radford, not an easy stretch at all.

10-2 at home is not shabby by any stretch. Interesting to see that Sly hi-lighted 3 women from HP that are all freshmen. Looks like they have some pieces to build on for the future.

We are up 32-27 at the half. Moriah went down with what appeared to be a knee problem, but no word on the extent of it. Good first half for Megan with 10 points and 7 rebounds.

And our defense is amazing... the Lady Panthers are shooting under 29% from the floor, and under 20% from three.

Megan just fouled out, hopefully we can hang on without her.

Good to see us win a game that we didn't necessarily dominate.
Hopefully Moriah is alright...

These last 3 games won't be tough, 2 on the road and Radford at home. I really want to get to 30 wins though

We have put it away at 77-64 with 20 sec. left. Rachel McCloud with some big plays down the stretch.

You know what I just realized? Since there are only 7 women's teams this year, the 1 seed gets a bye in the first round. That's all well and good except for the fact that we would head to the big dance with 29 wins rather than 30

Final score 78-68. Megan with 26 and 14. The refs made the second half more a parade to the foul line than anything.

Just means we have to win in the tourney to get to 30 wins!

Interviewing Megan right now and she does not think that Moriah's injury is serious but not certain about it.

My hubby and I got to go to this game. We're back in the hotel now and will head back to Lynchburg tomorrow. It was a fun mini-trip for us, a nice little get away. VERY, VERY impressed with their campus. Jeffersonion style and I love the old fashion street lamps that light the main pathway in front of the campus. They're really big on banner flags.....all over the place. They're doing a lot of construction and I think my hubby and I will consider making a trip out here annually. The game was great, nail biting though. Couldn't believe that HPU caught up and tied us but I don't think they ever got ahead not even by one point. They have an awesome statue of a Panther pouncing outside their basketball arena, the statue's very similar to the ones outside the Carolina Panthers Stadium.
