Courtney Watkins

I was walking down to lunch and I stopped in the Vines Center because the scoreboard caught my eye. When I walked in I didn't see anything going on on the court. When I looked closer, I saw Courtney Watkins on the far end of the court, just practicing jump shots. She was hitting at a pretty good clip too.

These are the sorts of things that make for good players. I had a pretty fair respect for Courtney as a player but seeing this gives me a whole new level of respect.

you can grow it anywhere- you just need flourescant lamps, a sprinkler system, a timer and a camera system to watch for five-oh

Oy vay...

Getting back to the point of the thread (although I will give you props for that one PA), the really good players have talent, but they also know to put in the extra work even outside of scheduled practices.

Individual workouts in between classes are very common in season.
