Just checked the latest rankings, and unlike in other years our loss to UNC didn't cause us to stop losing votes completely. We have 1 in the latest (12/31) AP and 4 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll. Radford also has a vote in the coaches poll.

GMU is ranked 186 in the rpi according to http://www.collegerpi.com/women. I think as long as we keep winning we will move up in the polls.

As long as we keep winning we will move up in the polls, but down in rpi from here on out. No biggie though, the girls have done what they needed to OOC to set them up for a decent seed if they make the big dance.

That's great about the polls and all, and I know that I will take flack for this, but the polls and votes mean very little when it comes to playing in the tournament (yes, I understand it affects who we will play) as far as OUR quality of play. If we keep playing as we are, I am confident that we will do well when it comes to the Big Dance.

We all know that, but it does give you a good gauge as to where you stand compared to other teams and years past

You must have been a lurker if you knew you were gonna take flack.....there is a difference of opinion about what seed is the best to get if me make it to the tourney.

The difference of opinion is in what constitutes a good season. Some are heavy kool aid drinkers, others (myself included) face reality.
