Lady Flames Hold Off Glenville State, 66-54
December 15, 2007
Lynchburg, Va.
A 14-0 run early in the second half helped the Liberty women’s basketball team break away from a pesky Glenville State club for a 66-54 victory, Saturday afternoon at the Vines Center. With their seventh-straight victory, the Lady Flames completed a 4-0 homestand.
Liberty moves to 9-1 on the season after outrebounding its outsized opponent, 42-31, and scoring 36 points in the paint. Meanwhile, NCAA Division II Glenville State falls to 3-4 with its fourth-straight loss, despite placing three players in double figures.

As many as I want to.![]()
I go to a few women's games a year in person along with all of the men's games with the exception of the rare occasion I am working during a game.
And when are you not irritated?
Almost always.
I'm not even really being critical of Jamie overall. I just don't like that one thing and he does it a lot. I personally think he is better at play by play than commentary, and I have previously praised him for mastering the pronunciation of the names of all the Eastern European girls we have had on the team. i also thought the play by play of the men's games in Fresno were, shall we say "more coherant" than usual.

By the way, anyone notice UNC beat Coastal last night by about 25 points.
