Ask Liberty Head Women’s Basketball Coach Carey Green to describe his view on the upcoming 2007-08 season in one word and he quickly replies, “unique.” The season is in fact unique because, for the first time since 1996-97, the Lady Flames do not enter the year as the defending Big South champion. Green anticipates a unique campaign for several other reasons as well.
