AUBURN HILLS -- Katie Feenstra is working up a sweat even before the game starts.

It's about 90 minutes before she'll hit the court as center for the Detroit Shock, the defending champions of the Women's National Basketball Association.

Shock head coach Bill Laimbeer is putting her through drills. He chomps gum and blows an occasional bubble as he tries to block her shots.

Awesome article! Just a heads up, Detroit will be playing San Antonio July 31 on ESPN 2, and with both Coach Lange and Katie in the house it should be interesting.
