If she makes the USA U21 Womens national team or the USA Pan American Games team then they will be played over the summer.

Google Time--

(1) can anybody find a list of the 45 students invited?
(2) is Megan the only player invited from the BSC and/or from the Commonwealth of Virginia?

megan is the only one from the Big South invited. TJ Jordan from ODU has been invited too so only 2 invitees from the state of virginia.

Wow, thanks SportsCritic--so zero representation from UVa or Tech? That statistic alone should help CG and AS in recruiting.

Congrats to megan, great honor to just be invited! Will any of the other girls be participating on their National teams like Egle, Roli Anne, or KP?

no just Megan. This is for some of the elite women's basketball players. Some of them include Erlana Larkins (UNC), Charde Houston (UConn), Marissa Coleman (Maryland), Candace Wiggins (Stanford) just to name a few people invited.

Prior to coming to LU, Roli Ann was the youngest ever member of the German national team. I do not know if she still has ties to that program. I am not aware that Egle is involved with the national team in Lithuania or KP in France.

i don't believe she made the team. i checked the usabasketball.com site and didn't see her name on the rosters for the national team U21 or the Pan American Game team.

She didn't make it.

She said that they played her at the 4 exclusively, which is the position she is least comfortable with. She also said most of the players were very "cliq"-ish and that she just didn't fit in with a lot of them.

Still a great honor for Megan.
