Are we going to watch the 2:00 game on Comcast? Does anyone even care? If so, who are you pulling for? Since Coach Jerri Porter is an LU alum and since Radford is in state, I'm rooting for the Highlanders (gosh, that's hard to say).

Cannot root for Radford in ANYTHING...
...I shall root for the Bulldogs and fellow JMU alumn Besty Blose. Will I watch? Not a chance.

I'm not going to watch unless nothing else is on the television. Now, if SCAR wa calling the game, I'd be right there. But sadly, I don't have a dog in this fight.

I think we should still watch...this sounds crazy, I wish Highpoint was in it...I would still like to see the best remaining team represent our conference. This makes me sick to say it...but I guess I hope Radford wins....it's on now, I guess, I'll probably turn it on.

I can't watch this, but i turned it on to see the score....and man that is one ugly college gym...I would be ashamed if that was my college....its one thing if they were a D3 team...but you have to have a better place then that in D1...come on

At the half, Radford is up by 3, 27-24. No sign of RD in the stands, trying to warm up to the Highlanders' AD. :P

I just came back to the house from running errands and saw the halftime show. Unicyclists. O-kay. Anyway, the lady play by play person may be enough to keep me for the 2nd half.

Asheville wins at home. And UNC faces NC State in the ACC championship tomorrow. It's Carolina's year!

Congrats to Betsy Blose and the UNCA women. Blose has done a remarkable job considering that her predicesor, Kathleen Webber, had absolutely run the program into the ground. You so-called haters think your perceptions of Coach Dunton were bad....
...but Webber was the most evil, vile person I have ever been around in college athletics.

It should be noted that UNC-Asheville was on the wrong end of a blowout against LU in the Big South Tournament in Coach Blose's first season

El Scorcho...I actually toned it down. Oh the stories. Oh the stories that would make LSU blush.

Wasn't Webber on the (or at the very least, formerly on the) Women's basketball NCAA selection committee? I know it was someone from a Big South school, and I always pointed to that as a reason why the lady Flames would be 27th ranked in the nation and still get hosed by drawing a 14 seed.

The former AD before Cone was chair...heck, she might still be. If Webber was, I can understand why LU got hoses as well as many other WBB teams with male head coaches.

UNCA will play LSU in the first round of the NCAA tournament. UNCA a 14 seed and LSU a 3 seed. The game will be played in Austin Texas. Maybe SLY fox could get a peek at that game.

I'm just trying to digest the idea that it could've been us playing at the erwin Center. I could've rounded up a nice contingent of LU alumni for that one. Oh well. :banghead

it will be tough to swallow.

That does stink... especially in light of LSU's situation... I'm not sure how much it matters but they may be playing with the wind out of their sails b/c of the recent events... OR they could do the opposite... you never know in sports...

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing Sly. Austin would have been an awesome road trip. Been there once and loved it.

Careful, Chris. You're losing credibility acknowledging anything west of the Mississippi has any merit.
