Fans of the Liberty Lady Flames Women's Basketball team will get to know the players on this year's team a little better through a new series entitled "One-On-One With ...". Today's installment features a question-and-answer session with junior forward Egle Smigelskaite.
1. Why did you decide to attend Liberty?
I just wanted to come to the U.S. and play basketball and be able to attend college at the same time. (At last a truly honest answer)
2. What is your favorite food at the Liberty cafeteria?
I am off campus, praise the Lord. (SJ's been spreading his off-campus 'gospel')
3. If you could play one-on-one with anyone, who would it be?
Grant Hill. To be more realistic, I’d like to play Clint Jackson from our cross country team, just because he’s been talking a lot of trash about girls playing basketball.
4. Where do you see yourself in five years?
I see myself still having a hard time trying to shop for very long pants. (Witty.)
