This was taped the week of the Virginia Tech game

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Liberty University sophomores, Megan, Molly and Moriah Frazee, the only set of triplets currently playing NCAA Division I women’s basketball, will be featured on a television show about college women’s basketball entitled, “Pride, Passion and Power.” The program will be aired nationally on CBS Sports, Sunday afternoon (Jan. 21) from 2-3 p.m. EST. It may be viewed locally on WDBJ Channel 7.

The one-hour show was produced by ESPN, and will be hosted by ESPN’s Trey Wingo and Stacey Dales. One of four segments within the show will cover the Frazee triplets, who are the three leading scorers and the three leading rebounders for the 10-7 Lady Flames. An ESPN camera crew was on the Liberty campus Dec. 4-5 to film much of the footage which will be used during the special.

The Frazees have garnered considerable media attention this season. They were previously featured on ESPN.com’s college women’s basketball website, in an article by Beth Mowins entitled, “Liberty has three times the fun in Frazee triplets.” Vic Dorr, Jr. penned a piece, “Frazee triplets a package that gives Liberty women’s team reason to say ‘amen,’” which served as the centerpiece of the Richmond Times-Dispatch college women’s basketball preview.

Another segment of “Pride, Passion and Power” will feature Oklahoma freshman guard, Jenna Plumley, a pure blood Native American. “Where are they now?” will examine the successful career of Leigh Ann Curl, a former UConn women’s basketball player who graduated in 1985. Curl now serves as the head team physician and surgeon for the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens. Finally, this year’s five Wade Trophy candidates will each be highlighted.

Hopefully this weather we're supposed to get will be more snow than ice so we don't have to worry about the power going out and we can actually watch it.

I don't think I've ever had to deal with a power outage on East Campus

I am watching the special now. The KT Tunstall video at the beginning was nice and I think I saw a shot of the Frazee triplets in there

I will tell you it was a good feature. They interviewed Coach Green and most of the players. FSN and GMTM even made screen shots during the story.

We got it up here in Detroit. It was nicely done. So often it becomes about Falwell, and I thought he did a great job limiting what he said!

It was great to see Liberty praised. Even though they gave Coach Green credit for winning 11 straight Big South championships. (he has won 7 hasn't he?)

hey pbow this is ACC country, and those games are more important than the frazee story. i would have loved to see it though. i am surprised WDBJ did not show it on it's sister station my network tv.

Considering the local content, they could've tape-delayed it as well.
