Ok, so we haven't played UTA today yet, but I figured why not go ahead and start the thread about our game against AP #22 Pittsburgh. Yes, they're undefeated, but here's their schedule:

And they play East Carolina today at 4:30. This team seems ripe for an upset IMHO, and if we can keep our turnovers down, make some free throws, I'm feeling good about our chances.

Only on the women's side...and football during the summer. Though Critic is right, the last 4 games we haven't exactly played our "A" game.

I agree with Atrain that these Holiday Tourney games are terrific opportunities for upsets ... particularly on the womens side. If there ever were circumstances that could be distracting for college age girls (other than the basement at Fellinis) it would be Cancun. Perhaps this could be a signature victoryf or the selection committee.

We lost today by 4 to UTA. Looks like we will lose big. Real big!

And after today's results against UTA-we don't have a chance against Pitt.

Pitt beat ECU 70-53 today...*sigh*

again we will be real lucky to be within 15 tomorrow.

Pitt is in the same category as GW and I would break it down a little more but I used all my energy on the UTA thread.

I don't know if we have a shot at winning tomorrow or not...I don't see why not...I mean sure Pitt is better then the team we played today, but its not like Pitt is LSU or Maryland or some superpower, so i would dare say this will be another close one....

we are on a 13-2 run... Lightfoot with the chance for a 3pt play we are up 25-24 with 1:22 to go in the first half

14-2 run Lighfoot makes the FT... jump ball flames with possesion with 1:00 to go up by 2

GMTM-its not over till its over (see: UVA-we were on the right side of that one, VT, GW and UTA). How many times this season have we been up at halftime (by a little or a lot) and lost?

I think what GMTM is saying is that Critic was saying we shouldn't show up. For a team that shouldn't even show up, we are doing quite well, win lose or draw. I hope we can hang on and win this one.

Oh my God!!!! LU leads by 7 with 9 minutes to go. Can we keep that lead?
