Nice win over Arkansas tonight. This team shows some upside. Played Tennessee tough a few games back too. Shooters, seasoned players and some height.
Not a big women’s basketball fan but any win over an SEC opponent is great for the LU brand!

Good for brand, but Arkansas is horrible this year.

A Liberty win over a SEC school in any sport is huge.

Go watch Arkansas and tell me if you still believe that. I’ve seen them twice.
They lost to UCLA by 49
Oral Roberts by 21
Fairfield by 14
Bowling Green by 1
They’re 6-7.
SEC win looks fun at first glance. But I’m telling you Arkansas is awful. If there were lines on games like these, Liberty would’ve favored. Neighbors is on very thin ice, and he might not make it to the end of the season. Which is sad, because I really like the guy. But they got zilch from the portal this season. And it’s costing them.

How do you beat an SEC team, then lose to a MAC school the next night? I told you.
I didn’t see the game, but not often you see a CG-led team get outrebounded like that. Toledo had 15 offensive boards! And while some of it was probably end of game stuff, they went to the FT 29 times compared to 17 for LU.

Yeah. CG teams live on the boards. If they don’t out rebound a team they will struggle.

Truer words never spoken. That’s an understatement, too.

That’s because she plays SOFT. She has not really improved that much in 3 years. I was hoping the coaches were going to improve or change her game.

LU look slows against MTSU. They play the first half like JV vs Varsity

It’s not so much the lack of speed. It’s that combined with a lack of physicality

It looks like both team were almost equal matched. MTSU had better offensive plays and executed better. Green was out coached by MTSU coach. That’s what it seemed to me.

Just in case anyone hasn't noticed, Liberty is in first place in CUSA standings.

Liberty is still tied for first place, with Middle Tennessee, at 8-1.

The rematch will be telling. MTSU motorboated the ladies the first time. LU now has some injuries but I’d.s playing the best they have e in awhile. The Tournament is gonna be interesting

I will never in the existence of mankind until the second coming of Jesus Christ wished for injuries to any athlete. However, the blessing with this team is the injury of the 2 bigs that allow Stout to play instead of redshirting. She will get better from here on. She will be a huge help as the season coming to a close and heading to the playoffs.

Checkout a 6’5 player name, Grace Mbugua in YouTube. She originally committed to Liberty but decommitted. Instead she committed to Louisville. She would have been the best post players LU has ever had. Her size, athleticism, and basketball skill sets are so much better than any post players in the past. She is even better than Feenstra because she can dribble and shoot.

Green actually got smart so far in this game. He is playing Moore with the starters to help with defense as Moore should be instead of Aigesdotter. I’ve always said that Moore should be a starter. This game is going good so far. Tbh why should only rotate 7 players tonight.
