Well, the lady flames are ousted early too. Absolutely atrocious defending on the final play to let JSU win.

Do we have any realistic shot for an at-large?

Our NET ranking is 71 so we are likely on the wrong side of the bubble.

We should have enough wins, but selection committee will probably give bids to P5 teams, with far lesser wins.

Because those teams are better. Committee isn’t “giving” anything away. Teams earned them.

ASun schedule doesn’t help LU at all. Neither did Memphis or JMU. VT did their part. LU could’ve used one win against FGCU.

Beating JMU hurt us?

Having Smuda guard the in bounds passer (Johnson) was the wrong move, especially on the sideline. Once she passed the ball in it was given right back to her and she blew by Smuda and there was no one switching off to stop an uncontested layup. Saw that play coming when I saw Johnson take the ball out. Should have had Williams guarding her since she was 9-10 shooting on the day, you know they wanted the ball in her hands and coaching should have known that.

The big one, no. Our NET is 71.

WNIT - we have a chance.

This team cannot defend athletic teams. Not surprised they lost last night.

They didn’t have as good a season as they traditionally do. That win wasn’t as good of one as LU would’ve hoped.
