this is not a rant or anything- merely a honest question: in light of our recent branding efforts, and with regard to the fact that this may be the ONE team that gets us national press- can anyone explain why we're using the old logo here?

Medic, we told you this at Midnight Madness. It's because those were given to us for free before the Sweet 16 or something like that. At least that's the excuse I always hear.

Yea... they gave them to us the week of the Sweet 16, so I don't think we had any timeframe to send an updated logo. It was a quick turnaround. That was the year we updated the logo, so the last template the company had was with the old logo.

thank you sir.
wonder if our man, "T-shirt guy" could throw them on one of his industrial strength sewing machines and blast Proto's new logo on there - for free , of course

How much do a new set of uni's cost? Surely we could spend the cash on the best program we have to keep their image updated???
The whole thing is sexist....

One option as a slight mod of the official without the bottom "tails" and skewed slightly fatter for a more pronounced beak: (Though invariably some of the logo purists won't like it, I actually like the logo better with the bird atop the letters without the bottom trails in most instances...it is less cumbersome when trying to scale it smaller.)
