She went for 53 & 49 in back-to-back district games last season. She's a scoring machine and I am glad we snagged her before the ACC schools put on the fullcourt press that is sure to come if her senior season is anything like her junior one.

Clayton's Asia Todd, more than a basketball player

CLAYTON, N.C. — Last season, Asia Todd set the Clayton High School single-game scoring record...twice. On back-to-back nights, in fact. But following up a 49 point performance immediately with a 53 point outing, was just one of the many reasons we paid her a visit, Extra Effort Award in tow.

Ball in the basket, she makes it look so easy, effortless.

"She can score at will, she can score anytime she wants," said James Todd, Asia Todd's twin brother.

She's been doing it for years now too.
