Hearing more and more about this sort of thing, even at the professional level. Apparently the locker rooms are not a security priority during games. The cellphones were probably the most valuable things there, but they might have been able to track them.

Having worked in security for many years, I can attest that locker room security is not high on priority list on game day. Once team leaves locker room , it's basically left "open". Plus too many people have access, that should not, in my opinion. Once team leaves, locker rooms should be locked and only a coach should have key.

I don’t know about Winthrop, and I don’t know what kind of security firms y’all worked for. But, the security around every locker room I’ve been around is pretty stout. Every single facility in which my team has competed this year, has had personnel to escort team and coaches to and from locker room and court at all times, a person stationed near the locker room to ensure ingress/egress isnauthorized, and has provided locks/key codes on doors.

If this happened at Winthrop, that a HUGE black eye on a department that is usually a leader in doing things by the book relative to others in the BSC.

We had had a police officer sitting in front of ours last night

Hire ballcoach to guard the locker room (and pay him in Burger King gift cards).

On that. Just fantastic PSA. Raise.com People selling gift cards for less than face value. Like any deal, it's only good if you were going to spend the money anyway. But getting an extra 7-15% off anything is better.

Also there is a chrome extension called Honey. It logs coupon codes and automatically tries them at check out. I rarely pay full price/shipping on any online orders.
