Erin Batth was hired on Monday as an assistant coach for the Liberty women's basketball team.

Liberty Women's Basketball Head Coach Carey Green has announced the hiring of Erin Batth as an assistant coach.

Batth, who played at Clemson during Green's tenure as an assistant coach for the Tigers, spent the last three seasons (2014-15 through 2016-17) as an assistant at Georgia State. She primarily worked with the Panthers' post players, helping Georgia State rank among the Sun Belt Conference's top four rebounding teams for three straight years. Batth also served on the 2015-16 Strategic Plan Committee for Community Engagement for GSU Athletics.

Lol, that's why I said could be. Either of them would be great, plus they'll be a great coaching staff. Although Mr. Sherard has the better chance since he knows the squad.

... and he has better credentials and is Liberty to the core. Alexis didn't turn down Coastal because he intends to be a lifelong assistant. He has more than earned his shot.
