Home cooking prevails at the Furnace Play Basketball

When RU gets their 3 guards (2 starters) back next year (ACLs) and with their young and very athletic frontcourt they will be the team to beat in BSC next year.

The other side of that is they will have 3 guards coming off ACLs. Not likely they all will be 100%.

Nice win for the Lady Flames! Ashley is rounding into shape at the right time of the year.

The ladies, especially Catherine and Katelyn really stepped up in Ashley's absence, and now as she is getting her legs back so to speak, she is showing why she was voted preseason player of the year, and Brooke Alexander is continuing to be a revelation as she has gotten more time despite a quiet day against the Highs this time around

I watched first quarter. We did not look good early on.

Thankfully games don't end after one quarter. Good on the ladies for picking themselves up off the mat after that rough start and getting another win

We had the obligatory 20+ TOs but our rebounding did RU in. There are 344 women's teams in NCAA - LU is #342 in TO margin

Ashley seems to be improving her play - she looked bad the first half. Two games in a row where the opposing team made 9-20 foul shots. It's nice to play in the BSC - we should win out and hopefully take it all in Asheville in March :D

Where are the Women on Rebound Margin? That's been the staple

19th - our lowest in 15 years; last year (9th) was the second lowest after being ranked 1st, 2nd or 3rd since 2002.
