Don't look now, but the ladies are winning 32-14, and have looked the best they have all season. Really shocking inconsistency to be honest, besides the games against Seton Hall and Duke, this team easily could have only 2 losses on the season and in the top 25.

Even with just those two losses, they wouldn't be in the top 25.

UNCA would be a good win though. In conference, they're all good wins.

Liberty wins 71-53. Kearney dominates again and goes for 22. This is who I honk Lady Flames fans were expecting when she signed

Nice win with a dominating performance by our "bigs". Inconsistent guard play that resulted in several careless turnovers. In addition, we need work breaking the press. When UNCA used a man to man press it was very effective. Fortunately for us they inexplicably shifted to a zone press that we handled fairly well. We need to learn to make a team pay by attacking the press and getting easy buckets at the other end.

I liked UNCA's intensity on D. They move players in and out like a hockey team to keep up the pressure. What is disappointing is allowing them to get 18 offensive rebounds when their tallest player is 6' - that and forcing 24 TOs gave them 27 more shots than us. Lucky they had an off night shooting the ball. After being in the top 5 in the country in rebounding margin for ever we are now 3rd in the BSC

Your right about the rebounding-it was their quickness to the ball that was impressive. That's something we do not have without Ashley in there.

It was both their quickness and aggressiveness. I miss Avery Warley

I was impressed that despite all that going against our ladies we still led by 18 at half and were never really threatened in the second half. Hopefully Ashley will be back for the run to the conference tournament and we can nail down another ring for the foot.
