Except for a few breakdowns early in the game resulting in unobstructed drives to the hoop, the helpside defense was very good. Much better than the passive zone. The guards did a great job team rebounding. We still are last in steals (and turnovers by a wide margin) in BSC and with Ellis out for a number of weeks (she has more than half the total team steals) that isn't going to get better. We have our work cut out for us with SH and Duke both ranked teams.

I still would like to see two X factors play more--Sanders (healthy now) and Alexander. I think they could make a real difference in scoring. They both can handle the ball--a huge problem and they can shoot the three ball which would take the double and triple teams off Ashley.
