Coach recruits bigs but guards who are efficient in ball handling has not been a priority. It seems more important to win the battle of the boards than to win the battle of TOs.

This is why Liberty will never move past the first round or go to the next level.

That said, the Big South has been "catching up" for years, but yet somehow nobody has caught and passed Liberty as the top dog in the conference. A few times someone else has won the championship. but somehow, the Lady Flames manage to win the conference title. For the most part, you gotta beat the girls in red white and navy blue to get that trophy and go dancing
If someone beats you that sorta insinuates that they have caught and passed you.
There have been a couple of other BSC winners who have gone to the tournament. Lu has just done it the most
An occasional regular season loss doesn´t mean anything. i believe we have lost a total of 3 BSC tourney games in the last 19 years, and those losses were to 3 different teams, so I really don´t see anyone having ¨cought¨us.

There may be some validity to that

Molly Reagan was a 4-star recruit and has managed to look like she has never played basketball before. Did they ever think about redshirting her to get used to the collegiate game?
