We can live with that distinction as a #13 seed. And that school with questionable academics is not invincible even in what is essentially their own backyard. At least it is close enough for our fans to be in the house in Greensboro.

13th Seed from the Big South. That is about as much respect as a low major can ever receive.

We've gotten a 12 before. But we did have a good run once upon a time, as a 13 seed.

LU has only had 1 run in the Tourney, so.....

We lost to Elon by 12 UNC won by 18
We lost to NC State by 3. UNC beat them by 16 and 4

Cal would have been a better match up for us. Tempo will dictate this game. LU front line should be ok but this will really test the back court

Defense will be key. we gonna have to slow game down . UNC scores lot of points . Need to keep score in 50s or low 60s as final.

Good thing the transitive property doesn't work in sports, otherwise Virginia Tech would've been the national football champion this year. Anything can happen...it'll be a test and it's a long shot, but we have a shot unlike in most years.

The game is at UNC, not in Greensboro.

At least the double team is 6'3", not 7'0" w/ 3'+ arms like most years. I don't expect a win, but I expect we can be more competitive than in previous recent trips. And when you're competitive, anything can happen.

I am surprised at Coach Green's comments on scheduling and the impact it makes on seeding. Hopefully he will continue to schedule power 5 conferences.

It's better when you beat teams from the P5 as well. Especially Tournament teams

If LU beats Charlotte and Elon this year, the Flames might even be a 12. The way the tournament is set up now, getting to 12 is huge. Gets you away from playing a true road game in round 1.
