We have owned HP this year winning twice by 17 points, while they are 9-1 against the rest of the BSC. Now all we need to do is figure out how to beat Winthrop.
We beat Winthorp 2X last year and they beat us in the tournament. HPU (the same team that was on the floor yesterday) beat us 2X last year?? For whatever that's worth. The defense was as good as I've seen it. HPU had a very cold night shooting and had a couple 3 pointers rim in and out but they did a great job on Keys and Robertson (two of the best players in the conference and preseason 1st team all conference) in both games. Buer and Ellis contained Keys her pretty well and never gave her a good look and Robertson struggles with our size in the post. I like the fact that we are playing man to man rather than the passive 2-3 in year's past.
