Winthrop's 6"6' center Lisa Coop has left the Eagles program. There goes their height.

Here is the link to the story.

She shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as Feenstra tho unless you are talking about tall Blonde girls. If you are talking hoops, then no way. Tough to lose a player like that though still.

I know but WEF called her the "katie feenstra" of Winthrop. But I agree with you SCAR she was and is no where near Katie's calibre of play.

She wasn't a very skilled basketball player.

I only called her Feenstra in regards to her height. I never expected her to reach a Feenstra level of play, and though she showed some potential last year, she had a long way to go towards becoming a difference-maker for WU. The timing of her departure is awful. She bolts right before practice starts to go back home to Germany (the rumor is that she is going to play for a pro team there). It would've been nice if she could've made this decision early enough so that Childers could fill her roster spot...oh well.

i agree with you about her leaving the program just before the first official practice starts. It was bad timing and i did see some flashes out of her when she came to the Vines last season.
