The most successful program on Liberty Mountain deserves its own forum. We give Coach Green and the Lady Flames their props while breaking down their run to the Big Dance once again.

They may have two starters back from injury. Nunn their 6'3" center may return from a knee injury after missing 4 games and Kirkpatrick will be playing for the first time all year after Achilles surgery. She was on the all frosh team last year.

Blew out Coastal tonight 77-53 at CCU.

Nunn played last night against Coastal...

And that's the first I had heard about Kilpatrick possibly playing. I thought she was out for the whole season.

The coach was quoted as saying that she would be "suiting up" for the LU game this Thursday. Not sure if that means she'll get playing time. Cary Green was surprised WU was not voted preseason #1 given they have 2 1st team preseason all conference players and one being 2 time POY. Williams has added a lot to the team as a frosh. Her and HPU's Keys will fight it out for FOY.

Sometimes I wonder how we can suck so badly at times... as if another team stepped off the bus in our place.

38-31 Winthrop. 9 turnovers to their 3 and they lead by as much as 15 at one point. Hopefully, having only 7 players for the game will hurt them down the stretch.

LU leads 53-47 at the under 8 media timeout. Rininger has a double double (14 points 10 rebounds) while Nunn has been shut out in the second half while McClanahan and Wright also have 12 for the Eagles

Ashley Rininger finishes with another double double (20 points 14 rebounds), while Mickayla Sanders and Reagan Miller added 17 points each. Schaquilla Nunn and Dequesha McClanahan had 20 each for Winthrop to make it a three way tie for game high.
