Numbers you need to know: 41 and 3

Liberty has won 41 consecutive games against CCU dating back to 1996

Jaida Williams is only the third different coach over the length of the streak down in Conway

Our bigs stay out of foul trouble and have another game like they had against CSU and the streak will be 42 easily.

What was 3? The number of coaches? That averages to 1 about every 5 years. Big deal.

Most of the games were against coach LeForce which is what skews the number to a degree. I went with that because Coach Williams is now tasked with doing something he couldnt: beat Liberty and win the Big South.

Very few teams have since 96.

Agreed. Liberty really has been the Everest over the years (3 single digit losses in the last 9 meetings) for CCU though.

And the streak continues...71-62 Liberty. Ashley Rininger and Reagan Miller lead the way with 13 and 18 points respectively (Reagan 4-6 from 3).

Had a 28 point lead in the first half and hung on to win this one - there is now a bottleneck in the standings. The GW game this week should be a good one. Hopefully we will have Ellis back at PG.
