The most successful program on Liberty Mountain deserves its own forum. We give Coach Green and the Lady Flames their props while breaking down their run to the Big Dance once again.

Purple, for those of us who aren't coaches, what the heck does that mean? :dontgetit
In some set she receives the ball from the wing while she is at the Free Throw lane or higher.
She then passes the ball to the other wing (Aka other side of the court)

Thus "High", where she is on the court and 'Reversal' facilitating the ball from one side of the court to the other.

Hopefully that helps. I'd draw you a picture but even with all the upgrades to the site, they don't have that yet :D

So your remedy is that the people IN the game shouldn't turn the ball over. Brilliant! :D
Or is it that the people who handle the ball most shouldn't turn it over?
Or do you just rethink your statement and go 'oops'?
As obvious as it sounds, yes. The people in the game ideally should not turn the ball over. Having zero turnovers is almost impossible in the game of basketball so at the very least, you look over game film, find the places where most of your turnovers originate (which from a cursory glance at the stats, 4 players are responsible for 47 of the 81 turnovers we have had in our first three games) and then you find out what the cause of most of those turnovers is (which can be done in film evaluation as well) and then work with them to develop better habits and minimize the number of turnovers. While its not possible to eliminate turnovers, it is possible to reduce the number to a level that would lead to greater overall success. If your point guard turns the ball over say...6 times a game, if you can work with them to develop better habits while handling the ball and they end up only turning the ball over, say, 2 times a game going forward, that benefits the team as a whole as well as the player individually.

Which is more in depth then saying what you did earlier. But I'd stay away from stats, they are killing your argument. By your numbers
81 total turnovers
9 Players have seen at least some time
Avg 9 TO's a person
4 players account for 47 those TO which means the other 34 were committed by 5 players. Not that big of a difference considering the other 4 handle the ball more than the latter 5.
Which means by your logic they should focus on the 5 who committed the 34 TO's because they don't handle the ball as much.

The bottom line is that there are way too many TO's. Especially at the slower tempo that we play

What would be nice is if we created some TOs. We have 8 steals in 3 games  The opposing teams have 37 against us (81 TOs to date). We don't apply enough pressure on the ball and aren't very quick as a team. What I'm seeing is more man to man this year which is helping with the defensive FG % but we have a lot of work for a very young team. The coaching staff are really going to earn their pay this year - let's see how the team progresses throughout the year.

We don't really have the personnel to generate oodles of TO's
