Looks like a nice pickup. I wonder what other offers she had and was it an injury that kept her from being chosen earlier in the recruiting process.

I had thought the same basic things. Who had sought her and what offers she had. And whether injuries had kept her under the radar for us to pick her up.

Time will tell...

Well, Welcome to the Lady Flames!

They never list weights for women's sports. Which in my opinion goes against the Title IX equality mantra. If they want to be equal, list their weights too, I say. :nod

What is she a running back on the football team? I'm guessing by looking at the video she's @ 135lbs. and 5'9". Definitely built for speed. We can always use quickness, something we've lacked since even before the Frazees.

I asked because depending on that she could be a guard or a forward. At 5'9" she is probably a guard because you dont see a ton of players at that height frontcourt players. That said, I do agree that she will give us a needed dose of quickness in the backcourt and possibly be that scoring punch we need to complement Ashley, Katelyn, Catherine and Jasmine

At 5'9" there is no position she could play besides guard.

You mean you're never supposed to ask a woman her weight? :D

It may seem nitpicky, but I agree. If you check out our track and field rosters you won´t see any weights for men or women, only height. I guess because they are for all practical purposes one team with one coach, and giving weights for the women apparently wasn´t an option, Tolsma omitted them for the men as well.
