HPU will be a big hurdle this year with 2 first team all conference players and a transfer to replace their lone senior starter from last year. The first game against Duquesne (WNIT) will give us a preview of this team. I would think Duquesne would be favored by 10+ points given they have the A-10 player of the year (preseason) and virtually their whole team back. They have won 20+ games 4 years running and have probably one of the best women's coaches in the country. McConnell-Serio was all american at Penn State, played and coached WNBA and won an Olympic gold for Team USA. If we can compete and/or win that game then we're in for a good year. The next 2 games in Texas will be "an experience" but not a fun one. I'm hoping for the best but early season schedule is brutal.
