The most successful program on Liberty Mountain deserves its own forum. We give Coach Green and the Lady Flames their props while breaking down their run to the Big Dance once again.

Itll be interesting to see how Reagan Miller and Emily Frazier coexist next year as both ran the point for us. Kearney is going to really have to learn to use her height to her advantage. Katelyn Adams and Ashley Rininger will be coming off redshirt years, Tolu will be in her last year and so will Devon and Brittney Campbell. Itll be interesting how the freshmen work in as well (as we have seen Coach Green isnt afraid to go with a freshman if they are good enough)

I'm not sure Brittany will be back on the team next year. Since she's finishing her Master's, I'm thinking she may be done.

Unfortunately, it looks like Brittany is the Tyler Baker of our WBB program. Great for her that she will leave with a Master's degree and a bright future.

Kearney has big shoes to fill, but I'm guessing she has pretty big feet. Her productivity per minute was really good this year. now she needs to prepare herself for starter's minutes. I think Jasmine Garner has the size and athleticism to do a lot of the things Danica did for us. If Emily comes back healthy, I'm sure we will play her and Reagan together a lot. It's not like either of them are pure point guards who don't look to score. They are probably our 2 best 3 point shooters, and maybe with 2 ball-handlers in the game, we can cut back on turnovers.

Having said all that, the key to reaching full potential next year will be monster senior seasons from Devon and Tolu. If those 2 are healthy and play to their abilities, it could be our best year since 05.

Reagan should start over Emily. Look at Emily's stats and Reagan's stats their frosh year and you'll see Reagan had one of the best freshmen year's in school history. Emily will back her up and play the 2, at times. LaKendra will also play the 2 next year unless one of the freshmen coming in is the next coming of Elena Kisseleva. We do have 3 guards coming in next year - two shooting guards and one point guard. Devon at the 3, Tolu at the 4 and Katherine at the 5.

I totally agree about Reagan. She did an amazing job this year; above and beyond what you can realistically ask of a freshman PG. She also made it through a season playing huge minutes without injury, which is a quality not to be underestimated. I think the only starting position which is not set going into next year is the 2. Wide open between Emily, LaKendra and the newcomers, but not knowing what the freshmen bring to the table, I would definately give a healthy Emily the edge over LaKendra. Garner will see major minutes off the bench, with the 2 big girls who redshirted seeing limited time at the 4/5.

I like where we are set for next year. IMO the Big South is a lock. I think we have a chance to do well OOC depending on who we play. With Reagan,Emily and Lakendra in the back court that means teams can't put their best defender on one player because we will have more then one ball handler in the game. Our frontline should be solid again, like always. The wing position with Devon is solid but not sure what we have after that. The only concern I see is our defense in the back court. But there are ways around that.
I'm looking forward to some big OOC wins!
