Yep! Got our work cut out for us Monday. As noted in other threads they have a few 3 star athletes coming in next year and are only going to get better in the future.

The Big South needs to get post season tourney out of HP's gym.

Tonight could potentially decide the regular season championship. Hopefully we step up to the challenge on the road.

It appears that the Big South is going to do that, so next year they can have 750 people show up on a Sunday afternoon in a 6,000 to 8,000 seat arena/civic center.
Regarding the game tonight, I was able to get up to High Point Saturday afternoon, surprise my parents, and catch a HPU loss. Radford deserved to win the game; they outplayed, outhustled and just outworked High Point. High Point played about as bad as the officials officiated (and no, that's not blaming the officials for the loss-they were bad for both sides.) Thanks to the officials, it did remind me to check on the status of my contribution to Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
Frankly, in my opinion, High Point has overachieved this season. They basically played 6 players on Saturday and if that continues, that may be an issue later in the season. It will be interesting to see what adjustments other teams will make the 2nd time around. Unless they just collapse, Coach Hoover has done a good job in her first season and it will be interesting to see how it proceeds in the future.
It does appear that Liberty has picked up their game during the conference season (or at the very least, picked it up enough to win in the Big South Conference.) I haven't seen them play, but I will go ahead and predict Liberty to win the game. I do expect it to be a contested game, and even though there's a month left in the season, a win by High Point definitely puts them in the driver's seat for the #1 seed in the conference tournament.
Those of you from Liberty that are heading down, have a safe trip.

I have never been to HP gym, but I talked with someone who has been there several times. Most high school gyms are better so they tell me. I even sent email to Big South HQ. They responded back with a "dog and poney" show or a tap dance.

Knowing KK. I'd say tap dance. Possibly a waltz with some Lawrence Welk involved!
The Big South is not at a point where it is wise to have their tournaments off site. Having them at the higher seed will always guarantee your largest possible crowd.
I'll take the over on TO's and say we come close to out rebounding them 2:1

Sounds like the last time we played HP. The decent lead and then we squander it (the refs seem to be helping HP quite a bit, as well). We led by 19?!?!?

It is sad- 33 seconds left, we have a 4 pt lead, and I wouldn't bet on us!
