They lost to UNCA??? I saw UNCA play High Point and I couldn't believe how bad they were (Of course, they beaten Mercer which High Point couldn't do, so who knows?)

Let's pray they can bring this game to CSU on Monday unlike last year when CSU took us down. Hope LeKendra is ok for the game. Two quality wins in a row. When Reagan contributes offensively we're a better team. The bench is starting to contribute a little more each game.

This doesnt surprise me...the ladies have found ways to go out and basically smash teams into the floor coming off a loss in conference for the most part.

look at the last few seasons:

05-06

Lost to High Point by 9, next game beat Birmingham Southern by 14

06-07
Lost to High Point by 2 (in OT no less), next game beat Winthrop by 27
Lost to High Point by 6, next game beat Winthrop by 25
Lost to UNCA by 3, next game beat Birmingham Southern by 13
Lost to Radford by 23, next game beat Birmingham Southern by 12

07-08
Lost to Winthrop by 4, next game beat UNCA by 14

08-09
Lost to High Point by 5, next game beat Charleston Southern by 10

09-10
Lost to Gardner-Webb by 5, next game beat Winthrop by 29
Lost to Gardner-Webb by 3, next game beat Winthrop by 34

10-11
Lost to Radford by 9, next game beat Charleston Southern by 17
Lost to Charleston Southern by 3, next game beat UNCA by 14

11-12
lost to High Point by 4 in OT, next game beat Campbell by 29

We then went out today and beat Coastal team with athletic guards as Purple lamented, by 37 and held their two leading scorers to 7 points each. I dont know what they ate before these last two games, but they better not stop! CSU shoots high volume from the perimeter Chippy so if they dont get shots falling, and we shoot like we have the last two games and it wont be close...again

CSU beat Radford today I believe by 10. I sure hope they have an off day in shooting the 3 although they seem to play better and shoot better at home.

Thanks for irrelevant statistics beej. Look at the quality of opponents we played after losses and that will explain our success...

If you actually looked at what I said, I said that when we lost a game IN CONFERENCE, we would go out and basically take out our frustrations on whatever conference opponent was next. Remember also that Purple wasnt too confident in our chances going in...

In conference is what I'm talking about. And when you play cupcakes after a loss of course you're gonna blow them out.

cant you just be happy that they are rebounding well off a tough loss instead of downplaying the fact that the girls have played some much better basketball the last two times out?

It looks like we did well. CSU should be a walk over. Let's hope we have solved whatever was plaguing us!
