Down 48-39 in the second half. Our level of play the last 2 years just hasn't been that good the last 2 years. We used to beat these kinds of teams handily. Injuries or not this is unacceptable.

NC A&T unconscious shooting 3 pointers. With Jelena Antic gone you can notice the lack of top line talent.

Chippy...remember what you said...they are UNCONSCIOUS shooting three pointers tonight...when a team cant miss, it wont matter if you have better "talent". Two of their players are a COMBINED 9-11 from outside.

You are not going to win a lot of games shooting 7.7% from the floor and have 23 turnovers. Although, I do know that you CAN win agame with 32 turnovers

I know where I stand, but what are your honest feelings toward coach right now? I mean I know he's a great coach but somethings happened here...

In the past Coach Green usually fixes what is broken so we will see with this bunch. I do think that his recruiting has slipped a bit the last few years.

I'm hoping one of these 3 recruits can drain a 3. So far shooting 18%

When Devon is on we win . . . but someone else has to be an outside threat to open it up for Avery et al. I guess that's what Brittany Campbell can offer if she ever gets back. I liked Kearney's performance yesterday.

I think High Point will have a lot to say about this.

I agree. Any team that is athletic is going to give us fits. Coach Green's MO has always been to own the boards and that's what we did and do. Brittany playing will give us more of an outside threat but not help us on the athletic end.
The injury bug is also not our friend and the margin of error in the Big South is smaller each year as is evident by Radford a few years ago High Point and GW.

The ballhandling has been broken for three years now. If it isn't fixed, this team will continue to stagnate.

Be on the lookout for Winthrop this year. They have a transfer who's lighting it up - 23.3 ppg. Hit 9 treys their last game.

Impressive from her but there are two things that jump out at me:
1. She could suffer streaky shooting. She went 4-8 in the game after that 9 three performance, but before that she went 4-13 and 6-16.
2. She is a volume shooter. As I noted, she has taken 23 shots the last two games from the perimeter. In the game where she hit 9 threes she took 15 shots. She has taken 52 shots from behind the arc in 4 games. Relating back to my first point, how is she going to respond when the shots dont fall.

BJ. That's a pretty good percentage from behind the arc. Especially if she only took 15 shots and made 9 three pointers. Being a volume shooter is not really abad thing if that is her roll.
Rule of thumb is a 'good' 3 point shooter will hit 33% from behind the arc. Pure shooters you'd like to see hit 40%. Also remember that the line has been pushed back this year and it takes a little bit to get your muscle memory tuned in to that in a game setting.
Never seen her play but by the stats you listed, sounds pretty good to me.

I didnt say they werent good Purple...those are just the things that jumped out to me looking at them. You have to wonder what would happen on nights where the shots arent falling. She could have a night or two where she ends up 3-19 or 1-12 or some unbelievably low percentage like that so you wonder how she would react if that happened.
