I think that Regan Miller might actually be our starting point guard even with Emily coming back. Nice performance from her in her opener. I was hoping to see some more of the other freshman bigs like like Kat Adams, Kearney, and Rininger. Are they redshirting or thinking about it?

I believe she had @ 30 seconds on the bench as I was listening to the women's game while at the Vines. Danika Dale ran the point. She had 7 TOs for the game and shows we are hurting when Reagan is not in there. Also, we only played 8 players!!! We didn't see Brittany or LaKendra at all. I think there are nagging injuries and residual illnesses to contend with. It's possible that either Emily or Reagan will play the 2 when Emily comes back. It puts two point guards on the floor at the same time and may reduce TOs which is still a problem. That would move Devon to the 3 where she is more naturally inclined. Just a thought.

Libertyflames.com had quoted in reflection to Friday's game vs. UNC Greensboro that "Miller's 17 points came as the first Liberty freshman to start the first game of her career at point guard since Sarah Wilkerson in 1996-97."

It's only of course the first game of Reagan Miller's fresh new Liberty Lady Flames career (and alot remains to be told)... but if anyone out there has ever watched Sarah Wilkerson or Sharon Wilkerson ("The Twins") play as a Lady Flame that quote on Libertyflames.com is a great compliment, and I am initially excited at the potential of Reagan Miller blazing an epic freshmen trail as a Flame.

Just saying that Reagan Miller is off to a great start if she continues to play any where like she did last Friday night! The potential at least is exciting! Good job on your first collegiate game, Reagan!
