Great synopsis of both teams. Personally, I think Cary Green needs to reevaluate his staff now and not wait to reevaluate next year. How else do you explain this year's performance after returning the whole team minus Amber mays and finishing 26-7 the year before - poor shooting, poor foul shooting, TOs galore and mediocre defense (defensive numbers only improved when playing in BSC). The wings go beat badly on the 2-3 due to their lack of quickness. In non conference schedule they gave up a lot of points and scored very little. It would be nice to have an infusion of new ideas from new staff and some defensive variation rather than the very predictable 2-3. They're not quick enough to play man to man like most teams they face but certainly they can zone press and go to the occasional 1-3-1 with Devon running the baseline.

The boys need scorers period and rebounding from the 3, 4 and 5 and not always Jesse. JB held his own on the board at 6'4". I'm hoping the JUCOs can provide an immediate fix.

I would say that when you lead your conference in rebounding you did a little better than "holding your own" on the boards.
